Kelly and Will were married at The Frey Orchard (her grandfather’s) in Adrian, Michigan on August, 24. The bride wore a simple thin-strap v-neck chiffon gown and accessorized with a floral wreath around her delicate updo. Her ‘maids donned casual above-the-knee yellow dresses in various styles and they carried wildflower bouquets. “We relied on what was around us for our colors,” Kelly said. “The wildflowers in bloom at the time were mostly yellow and purple.” The groom wore a tan three-piece suit with no tie, while his men wore tan dress pants, button-down shirts and suspenders. Following the ceremony guests made their way to the tent where they sat at cafeteria-style tables adorned with wildflower centerpieces that the bride, her mom and and aunt arranged. Guests danced along to a bluegrass band and took home s’more favors. “There are tons of distractions on your wedding day,” Kelly said. “But it’s ultimately about your bond, your partnership. Make sure you relish the day with that person because it will be gone in the blink of an eye.” See the full wedding here.
